Building your very own mini fridge isn’t as tough as it seems, as this project only requires parts that can be purchased at any local hardware / electronics store. Supplied needed include: a cardboard box, scissors, an on/off switch, heatsink, peltier unit, and a 7.5V A/C adapter. Video after the break. [via Instructables ]

These aren’t the first purported Google Chrome OS screenshots, but these do however, “depict Google’s Chrome browser, with a dock of unnecessarily large app icons lining the right side of the screen.” Continue reading for one more picture. Google does offer a browser plug-in for Google Earth, and you can use a web version of Picasa to browse albums, so they’re still within the realm of possibility. [via TC ]

At $1,000 on eBay , this custom Bruticus transformer is comprised of five separate robots and even includes an instructional DVD on how to combine all of them. Auction page . Click here for first picture in gallery. There are at least 30 points of movement and several strong posses. He stands on his own with out any help or propping up of any kind. All parts fit tight and snug the colors on this one is true to the gen 1 style. [via eBay ]
